The University of Texas Longhorns are the National College Football Champions. In a stunning last minute display of steely nerves, UT managed to edge past USC 41-38 at the 2006 Rose Bowl in Pasadena. UT Quarterback Vince Young was the heart, body and soul of the Longhorns’ winning effort.
