Accidental Blogger

David Horowitz is a silly and dangerous man. He has an agenda and he will go to any length to promote it even if it means resorting to extreme incivility and the occasional lie. I first came across his latest plan of spreading hatred on US campuses a week or so ago. I had little substantive to offer as commentary except contempt. There was nothing in it that was out of character with what Horowitz has not done before on campuses or said on his execrable publication, Frontline. The story caught my attention mainly because of an item illustrating that even a well oiled hate machine can sometimes get sloppy in its eagerness. (Horowitz has since removed the spurious photo and replaced it with a real one.) I decided to post the story here after all when I read Brian Leiter’s appropriate response to Horowitz’s hate mongering.
