Even more than the pandering pol speak of the presidential candidates, what is getting on my nerves is the hot air emanating from the meaningless, gotcha punditry of the media (specially TV) commentators. One of the worst offenders is Chris Matthews of MSNBC, the boorish motor mouth who appears to be covering a boxing match rather than a presidential campaign. Why can’t the journalists learn from a truly honest newsperson who makes no pretense of hiding where he stands on matters?
