At 2:22, Palin says she thought she wants some levity and to “participate in something that isn’t so heavy-handed politics” – I didn’t know “heavy handed” was the antonym of light/funny :)
Yes, after all the racist ‘dog whistles’ she had been indulging in during the campaign, I’m sure that watching your Thanksgiving turkey being dismembered is just a ‘light and funny’ thing to enjoy. But then, we must remember that she is a hunter at heart, who presumably gets excited rather than nauseated by the blood shed, one who is not going to balk at field dressing whether it be a moose or turkey or gasp, even a human, maybe (unless it be an unborn one)!
