The interesting thing that I take away from the second article linked is that it is possible to get into the flow of the ‘meditation’ mode even when doing other activities, whether it be math, music, running, painting…fill in the blank. Whether people choose to equate it to a sense of ‘God in the brain’ or not, depends entirely on their inclination.
I wonder if the essay in the Daily Mail betrays some hints of mysterianism, or is it a slow reversion to the magical thinking that punctuates childhood before the age of reason hits.
