    The brutality is widespread, it seems. I am not so surprised by the presence of Pakistani mercenaries who are ex military. It is common enough for people trained in combat or law enforcement to offer their services as security personnel. Pakistanis of all stripes seek lucrative jobs in the Gulf Emirates and Saudi Arabia. But if the official Pakistani army is involved, that is very troublesome.
